ANDREW M. JONES, JR.

 Andrew M. Jones, Jr. was born to the late Reverend Andrew M. Jones, Sr. and Helen Ruth Jeter Jones. He is the oldest of ten siblings and was raised in Union, South Carolina.  He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Studies at University of South Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina in 1972.  In 1976, he received his Juris Doctor at the University of South Carolina Law Center, Columbia, South Carolina. He has served in the Military as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserve Judge Advocate General (JAG) and a Naval Intelligence Officer.

 Attorney Jones, who has thirty one years experience of practicing law, has served on many Boards and Committees in the Greenville community, including, but not limited to: Greenville County School District Board of Trustees; United Way of Greenville County; Peace Center of Performing Arts Advisory Board; and  St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School Board.  He is currently a member of the BEST Board for Greenville County Schools and was recently appointed by Governor Mark Sanford to the South Carolina Department of Mental Health Board representing the Greenville Mental Health Center. Andrew has one son, Andrew Jones, III,  who is also an attorney with the Law Firm of Jones and Jones LLC, Attorneys and Counselors at Law.
